Service Description
*Reservations are available for groups of 2 or more. *On Mondays and Tuesdays, the gin distillery is closed, so instead of visiting the gin distillery, we will visit the private winery Jasper Ridge or the organic winery Awaroa Winery. *Summer / Peak Season From December to January, Waiheke Island experiences increased tourist demand, busier ferry services, and a peak season for restaurants and wineries. As a result, different rates apply during this period. If you would like to book a tour between December and January, please select [High Season Rate] when choosing the number of participants. Tour Details 10:00am - Departure from Auckland 10:45am - Your guide will meet you at the Matiatia Ferry Terminal. Alternatively, we can pick you up from your accommodation on Waiheke Island. 11:30am - Enjoy a scenic drive overlooking Onetangi Beach, the largest beach on the island, and visit Man O' War. Enjoy wine tasting and lunch. A stroll around Man O' War Bay is also recommended. 1:30pm - Enjoy a gin tasting flight or a gin and tonic or cocktail at Waiheke's only gin distillery with stunning panoramic views. 14:30 <Optional> Enjoy a private tasting of NZ's "The Best Rose" at Jasper Ridge, located within the vineyard. 15:45 - Return to Oneroa town center and enjoy free time for coffee, gelato, shopping, etc. 16:30 - Drop off at the ferry terminal or your accommodation. *Ferry fare, olive oil, and subsequent tasting fees are not included in the tour price.
Cancellation Policy
During the peak summer season from December to March, we receive many bookings, and due to scheduling constraints, if multiple bookings are made on the same day, we may suggest a shared tour with other customers. At Waiheke Prime Tour, we value creating a special experience tailored to each customer group, and therefore prioritize private tours whenever possible. If you would like a completely private tour, please feel free to contact us before booking. We will check availability and create a dedicated plan for you. *For completely private tours, we recommend booking early during peak season. —Cancellation Policy— Up to 2 days before the tour: Full refund The day before the tour: 50% of the tour price On the day of the tour: Except in cases of ferry cancellation due to bad weather, no refunds will be given under any circumstances. (For those planning to pay in cash, we will send you a payment link regarding cancellation fees.)
