Children ages 5-17: $100 *Summer / Peak Season From December to January, Waiheke Island experiences increased tourist demand, busier ferry services, and a peak season for restaurants and wineries. As a result, different rates apply during this period. If you would like to book a tour between December and January, please select [High Season Rate] when choosing the number of participants. ..Tour Details.. 10:00 AM - Departure from Auckland 10:45 AM - Your guide will meet you upon arrival at the Matiatia Ferry Terminal. Alternatively, we will pick you up from your accommodation on Waiheke Island. 11:00 AM - Enjoy a premium wine tasting at the world-famous Mudbrick Vineyard. Enjoy wine and photos with the beautiful scenery. (This wine tasting is included in the tour price.) 11:00 AM - Take a 10-minute break at my recommended Little Oneroa beach (time permitting). 11:30 AM - Visit the new Allpress Olive Groves tasting room and store. Sample Waiheke Island's beautiful olive oils, herb spreads, and Waiheke Manuka honey olives. You can also purchase your favorite olive oil. (This tasting fee is included in the tour.) ### 12:15 pm – Visit Allpress Olive Groves Visit the newly opened **Allpress Olive Groves Tasting Room & Store**. Here, you can taste beautiful Waiheke Island olive oils, herb spreads, and Waiheke-grown Manuka honey olives. You’ll also have the opportunity to purchase your favourite olive oils to take home. **The tasting fee is included in your tour.** --- ### 12:45–2:00 pm – Lunch at a Winery Recommended by Your Guide Enjoy lunch at one of our recommended Waiheke wineries: * **Stonyridge Vineyard** * **Batch Winery** * **Casita Miro** *(closed Wednesdays and Thursdays)* If you have another winery or restaurant in mind, please let us know in advance. We are happy to tailor the itinerary to your preferences. **Stonyridge Vineyard** https://stonyridge.com **Batch Winery** https://www.batchwinery.com **Casita Miro** https://www.casitamiro.co.nz *Lunch and drinks are not included in the tour price, so please feel free to choose whatever you would like from the menu.* If you would like assistance with choosing from the menu, placing your order, or communicating with staff when making payment, your guide will be happy to help with interpretation. After lunch, we will tailor the rest of the itinerary to your preferences. If you don’t drink much alcohol, no problem at all! We can easily adjust the itinerary to include a scenic walk, a beach stroll, shopping, or other activities depending on what you would like to do. --- ### 2:15 pm – Scenic Drive to Onetangi Beach **Sample itinerary** Enjoy a scenic drive towards **Onetangi**, taking in the beautiful views of Onetangi Beach along the way. There will also be opportunities to stop and take some memorable photos of your time on Waiheke Island. *The timing may vary depending on how long you spend at lunch.* --- ### 3:00 pm – Winery, Brewery or Alternative Experience Choose one of the following wineries or local venues and enjoy a **wine or beer tasting**: * Tantalus Estate * Stonyridge Vineyard * Te Motu * Goldie Estate * Kennedy Point * The Heke * Postage Stamp If there is a particular place you would like to visit, please let us know in advance. We will do our best to include it in your itinerary. And if you’ve had enough wine for the day, that’s absolutely fine too! There are plenty of other ways to enjoy Waiheke, including: * Beach walks * Bush walks * Art galleries * Scenic viewpoints * Exploring local shops ### Waiheke Gin Distilling Co. If you would like to visit the spectacular **Waiheke Gin Distilling Co.**, we can include this as an optional experience for an additional **NZ$25 per person**. --- ### 3:45 pm – Free Time in Oneroa Village Return to **Oneroa village** and enjoy some free time. Grab a coffee or gelato, browse the local shops, or simply take a stroll around the village at your own pace. --- ### 4:00 / 4:20 pm – Drop-off We can drop you off at the **ferry terminal or your accommodation**. If you would prefer to stay on Waiheke and enjoy the island a little longer, please talk to your guide.
